Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA)

Protect your account with an authenticator app.

2FA adds a second login step using a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).

  1. Go to Settings → Two-factor authentication
  2. Click Enable 2FA
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  4. Enter the 6-digit code your app shows to verify
  5. Save the backup codes shown — store them somewhere safe in case you lose your phone

From now on, signing in asks for the 6-digit code after your password. If you lose your phone, use a backup code instead — each works only once.
