Streaming to YouTube, Facebook, or Twitch

RTMP setup, multi-destination, what works and what doesn't.

You can simulcast your live session to YouTube, Facebook Pages, Twitch, or any RTMP destination — up to 5 at once from a single feed. Requires a creator plan with RTMP streaming enabled.

Setup

  1. In the video room (as host), click Go Live in the header (Radio icon)
  2. Add destinations: click YouTube/Facebook/Twitch presets or Custom RTMP
  3. For each: paste the full RTMP URL from the platform's broadcaster panel (e.g. rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/STREAM_KEY)
  4. Click Go Live (N) — streaming starts within 10 seconds

Facebook Live caveat

Facebook removed direct RTMP support for personal profiles in 2023. To stream to a Facebook Group, you need a Facebook Page as an intermediary: stream RTMP into Page → cross-post to Group via Facebook Live Producer.

YouTube

YouTube Live requires 24-hour enablement on a fresh channel. After that, RTMP works at any subscriber count (unlike mobile-app live which needs 50+).

Overlay bake-in

By default, overlays (lower thirds, watermark, ticker) render in the room but NOT in the outbound stream. Admins can flip Stream overlays in Admin → Settings → Video to bake them in.
