Camera effects, lighting, and the Auto-enhance toggle.
In the video room, click the Sparkles button in the controls bar for camera effects:
- Auto-enhance β boosts brightness, saturation, contrast (no blur). Closest to Zoom's "Adjust for low light" feel.
- Touch up β subtle / strong β softens skin (blurs slightly) for a beauty-filter effect
- Pull camera back β scales your video to 82% with a soft blurred halo backdrop. Makes you look further from the camera without moving.
- Background blur (light / strong) β blurs your background
- Background image β upload a custom virtual background
All effects apply to the OUTGOING stream, so everyone watching sees the result. Only one camera effect can be active at a time.
Camera defaults
The platform captures at 1080p / 30fps when your webcam supports it (auto-downscales otherwise). For best results: face a window or lamp, sit ~arm's length from the camera, and check the device-select dropdown next to the camera button if you have multiple webcams.
