What actions award points + how levels work.
Points are awarded for engagement actions inside a community. Defaults (admins can customize):
- Publishing a post: 5 points
- Commenting on a post: 2 points
- Receiving a like on your post: 1 point
- Completing a course lesson: 3 points
- Daily login streak: 1 point
Anti-gaming
Each action has a daily cap (e.g. you can only earn from 10 posts/day). You can't earn points by liking your own posts. New accounts have lower caps until they're a week old.
Levels
Points roll up to levels. Default thresholds: Level 1 = 0 pts, Level 2 = 10, Level 3 = 30, ... up to Level 100. Admins can customize the curve + give each level a name + badge URL.
