Badges

Badges are custom awards admins can create + assign rules for. Examples:

• First post — auto-awarded when you publish your first post in the community
• Top contributor — auto-awarded when you reach a points threshold
• Course graduate — auto-awarded when you complete a specific course
• Founding member — manually awarded by admin to early members

Where you see them

Earned badges appear on your profile and on the leaderboard. Some are public (everyone sees them) and some are admin-only.

Admin setup

Admins manage badges at Community settings → Gamification → Badges. Each badge has a name, icon (upload), description, and trigger rule.
