Live course cohorts β learning together
Cohorts let everyone start a course on the same day with synchronized lesson drip.
A cohort is a scheduled session of a course where all members start on the same day. Lessons unlock from the cohort's start date β so everyone progresses at the same pace, even if they enrolled at different times.
How it works as a learner
- Open the course and scroll to Live cohorts.
- You'll see upcoming + active cohorts with their start date, end date (if any), and price.
- Tap Enroll (free) or Join (paid) β paid cohorts open Stripe Checkout.
- Once enrolled, lessons unlock from the cohort's start date (not when you paid). If you join a 6-week cohort that started 2 weeks ago, the first 2 weeks' lessons are immediately available.
- The cohort can sell out β once the seat cap is hit, the Join button shows Full.
How cohorts differ from regular enrollment
Without a cohort, drip schedules unlock content based on when you personally enrolled. With a cohort, everyone moves through the course on the same calendar day β which means cohort members are at the same lesson at the same time, perfect for discussion + accountability.
Creating cohorts (creators)
From the course editor, go to Cohorts tab. Add a name, start date, optional end date, optional max enrollments, and price. Free cohorts enroll instantly; paid ones go through Stripe Checkout with your platform fee applied.
