Adding polls to posts

Polls let you collect opinions from your community without a separate form. They appear inline on the post card and tally votes in real time.

Creating a poll

1. Start a new post the usual way (Create Post on the community feed).
2. Click the chart-bar icon in the composer toolbar to attach a poll.
3. Enter your question and at least two options.
4. Pick Single choice (radio buttons) or Multiple choice (checkboxes).
5. Optionally set an expiry date — after that, results are visible but voting closes.
6. Publish the post as normal.

What members see

Before voting: tappable options. After voting (or once the poll expires): percentage bars with a checkmark on the user's pick, the total vote count, and a "Voted" label.

Editing a poll

Once a vote has been cast, the poll's question and options are locked — changing them mid-poll would invalidate existing votes. Delete the post and start over if you need to fix something.
